The Christchurch Dermatology Cosmetic Clinic and the Southern Liposuction Clinic are specialist medical clinics directed by dermatologist Dr. Grant Bellaney, a Christchurch skin specialist. Dr. Bellaney has been performing cosmetic procedures, such as BotoxTM, chemical peels and dermal filler treatments, since 1996. He was the first specialist to introduce Tumescent Liposuction into the South Island.
Dr. Bellaney's specialist training in skin and its care, combined with many years of performing cosmetic procedures, led to the development of the Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic in 1999. Procedures are performed either by Dr. Bellaney or a specialist cosmetic nurse under his guidance.

Liposculpture
Liposculpture is a commonly used term which really describes the purpose of liposuction i.e. Liposculpture is the sculpturing of body contours by the use of liposuction. Other forms of liposculptre via ultrasound or chemical injection ( eg Lipodissolve ) make only a mild to modest alteration in the bodies contour.
